Getting Here:
Conveniently located in downtown Indianapolis on the campus of Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, you may access the Executive Health Program office from New York Street, which runs east and west through campus. The office is located in the National Institute for Fitness and Sport building. Click here for the Parking Map and Driving Directions. Upon arrival, you may park in the reserved lot just east of the building and enter the facility on the east side. Signage will direct you to the main floor offices.
Once you check in at the front desk, you will have access to the executive suite. It will become your home base throughout your visit where you can relax for a few moments between tests. Enjoy a snack, access the Internet for those can't wait e-mails, or make a call. A physician from the IU School of Medicine will monitor each medical test and perform your exam and evaluation. The average Executive Health Assessment includes two visits. Please plan to spend one full morning undergoing testing and another two-hour visit with your physician who will explain your test results. While much of the assessment includes standard testing, your appointment also will be tailored to your specific needs.
Once your initial exam is completed, your physician will incorporate the fitness evaluation into a final report and discuss results and a recommended health and wellness plan designed for you at your second visit. We also will be happy to provide records to your family physicians. If one is not available, we will be pleased to assist you in selecting a practitioner. Referral appointments for urgent care needs are available in select medical departments including dermatology, gastroenterology, and more.
