Training Opportunities

Training program

The Indiana University Schools of Medicine and Science provide outstanding opportunities for graduate education leading to the Ph.D. with emphasis on the actions of alcohol, pathology resulting from alcohol abuse, and the neurobiology of addiction. In addition to numerous faculty who support graduate students and post-docs on their own grants, we support trainees through the T32 "Genetic Aspects of Alcoholism" for graduate and post-graduate training, the Psychobiology Program, and the Medical Neuroscience Program.

We also welcome short-term collaboration to learn about our animal models, genotyping and micro array projects, neuroimaging, and alcohol clamping technology. Please contact the directors of those core laboratories directly, or direct your inquiry to the Director, Dr. David Crabb.
