IU Inflammatory Bowel Disease

The Inflammatory Bowel Disease Program at Indiana University provides cutting edge care to patients with Crohn's disease and Ulcerative Colitis.  Currently, we have three adult gastroenterologists with plans for expansion in the near future.  We offer a multidisciplinary approach to patient care with our expert team comprised of nurses, medical assistants, social workers, dieticians, GI radiologists, GI pathologists, colorectal surgeons and the stoma care team.  Our experienced team members are highly trained with a focus on inflammatory bowel diseases to meet our patients specific needs. We have state of the art diagnostic equipment  and use the latest techniques including video capsule endoscopy , double balloon enteroscopy, chromoendoscopy and endoscopic treatment of intestinal strictures.  Beyond the currently available therapies, we offer a multitude of investigational drug trials for patients to benefit from the latest in drug development.
