This two-day seminar will cover many topics of interest to physicians caring for adult patients in a wide variety of practice settings, with an emphasis on the topics of hospital based medicine, management of cardiovascular disease, and the special problems faced by an aging population. Admission is free to ACP student members with pre-registration. (ACP Student Membership is also free!)

October 26 (Friday): Ten Reasons to Be a "Big" Doctor
Dr. Robert Lubitz, MD, MPH, FACP
Governor, Indiana Chapter of the American College of Physicians, and Vice President Academic Affairs and Research, St. Vincent Health
Dr. Lubitz shares some of his experiences as a practicing internist that highlight some of the many reasons to choose a career in internal medicine.

October 28 (Sunday): IMSIG Picnic
Dr. Crabb (Chair of the Dept. of Medicine) annually hosts the IMSIG picnic which gives students a chance to discuss career options in internal medicine in an informal environment and get to know some of their potential future colleagues in the department. Significant others and families are welcome to attend. Classic picnic fare will be served and vegetarian-friendly fare will be also be provided.
