Our Mission: To increase collaborative research throughout the state of Indiana in all aspects of HIV/AIDS prevention and care. We seek novel methods to improve access to care for all persons living with HIV/AIDS, improve retention in care and adherence to treatment, reduce comorbidities for those living with HIV, increase community engagement and education, and eventually to cure HIV.
The Indiana Center for AIDS Research received a three-year funding award in July 2015 as part of the IUPUI Signature Center Initiative.
Congratulations to Dr. Brandon Gufford, an Indiana CFAR Junior Investigator Pilot Grant Award Recipient, who was recently awarded a prestigious Campbell Foundation grant to optimize tenofovir-based pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP).
