The overall goal of the grant is to provide start-up funds for young investigators to generate pilot data. The goal of the study is to begin to investigate vincristine pharmacokinetics and metabolism in a pediatric oncology patient population.
The pharmacogenetics and metabolism of vinca alkaloids in adult and pediatric cancer patients
The overall goal of the grant is to establish a center of excellence in clinical pharmacology at Indiana University. The goal of this study is to better delineate vinca alkaloid metabolism and to investigate the impact of genetic polymorphisms on vinca alkaloid disposition, efficacy, and toxicity in pediatric and adult oncology patients.
