Bio

Dr. Jacqueline O'Donnell received her undergraduate degree from the University of Evansville in Indiana and continued her medical education at the Indiana University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in internal medicine at the IU School of Medicine and a fellowship in cardiology at the IU Medical Center. She joined the faculty of the IU School of Medicine in 1980 where she now serves as the medical director for the Cardiac Transplant Program. In 1992, Dr. O'Donnell was named a Woman of Distinction-Science by the Soroptimists and also received the Teaching Excellence Recognition Award from the IU School of Medicine in 1998. She has authored dozens of publications and has served as a resource for both university and community organizations.
