Bio

Dr. Michael Eadon is a translational physician scientist with accomplishments in the realms of pharmacogenomic discovery, construction of a molecular atlas of the kidney in health and disease, and implementation of pharmacogenomics and genomics of chronic kidney disease. He received his MD from Rush University (2006), completed internal medicine residency at Baylor College of Medicine (2009), and completed a combined research fellowship in nephrology, glomerulonephritis, and clinical pharmacology at University of Chicago (2013). He staffed the University of Chicago Glomerulonephritis clinic before joining Indiana University with appointments in nephrology, clinical pharmacology, and medical & molecular genetics. Dr. Eadon is a practicing clinician at Eskenazi Health, Indiana University Health, and the Richard L. Roudebush Veteran Affairs Hospital. He conducts kidney biopsies, serves on the nephrology and pharmacogenomics consult services, and has been named an Indiana “Top Doctor” for glomerulonephritis and chronic kidney disease care annually by the local press since 2018. Dr. Eadon is board certified in clinical pharmacology by the American Board of Clinical Pharmacology (ABCP) and serves as co-director of the clinical pharmacology fellowship.
