Bio

Dr. Stahl graduated from Purdue University with Honors and Highest Distinction in 2006, majoring in Neurobiology & Physiology & minoring in Psychology. She then went on to complete medical school, Neurology Residency, and Sleep Medicine Fellowship training at Indiana University School of Medicine. From 2015-2019, she was a staff physician at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center (VAMC). During her time at the VAMC, Dr. Stahl was the medical director of the sleep lab, developing the first in-lab sleep testing program at the facility and a home sleep apnea testing program. While at the VAMC, she also developed a sleep apnea group education program to improve patient access and education and assisted with development of a remote CPAP monitoring program. In 2019, she returned to Indiana University School of Medicine, assuming her current position as the Sleep Medicine Fellowship Program Director. Dr. Stahl has served on several committees, including the American Board of Internal Medicine's Item-Writing Task Force, and is the current Vice Chair of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine's Education Committee and Lead Co-Chair of the Purdue Alumni Medical Network Inaugural Launch Committee.
