Training in Sexually Transmitted Diseases Including HIV

A postdoctoral fellowship in STD and HIV research supported by an NIH T32 training grant will be available September 1, 2008. Candidates must have an M.D. or Ph.D. degree and have an interest in basic or behavioral STD or HIV research. Physician candidates must be accepted into an Infectious Disease Fellowship or Adolescent Medicine Fellowship at Indiana University or have completed this clinical training elsewhere. Mentors study basic aspects of HIV, HPV, H. ducreyi and Chlamydia or behavioral aspects of STD acquisition and prevention in adolescents.
