Research

The Partnership has an active research program that focuses on improving the delivery and outcomes of care in western Kenya. The main focus of the program is HIV/AIDS, specifically the Academic Model for the Prevention And Treatment of HIV/AIDS (AMPATH.)

AMPATH is the largest and most comprehensive HIV/AIDS program in Kenya and is a partnership between Indiana and Moi Universities, (in U.S. and Kenya respectively) with participation by a large number of other U.S. universities, mainly through research collaborations.
