The Arrhythmia Service (Electrophysiology) of Indiana University's Cardiology Division/Krannert Institute of Cardiology has been a national and international leader in the diagnosis and treatment of all types of heart rhythm disturbances (arrhythmias) for almost a half-century. Some of the pivotal discoveries in causes, mechanisms and treatment of arrhythmias originated here. The physicians of the Arrhythmia Service have extensive experience in management of all types of arrhythmia problems, from simple to extremely complex, and several are nationally and internationally recognized for their expertise. The Arrhythmia Service receives referrals locally as well as from surrounding states and throughout the country.
Our facilities are equipped with the most advanced equipment for taking care of patients' heart rhythm disturbances and our doctors have the necessary expertise to use them to achieve the best possible outcomes.
