Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship Program

Welcome to the Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship program at Indiana University. We appreciate your interest in our program, and hope that this website will give you a comprehensive look at our fellowship.

Our program has several goals. First is to advance the clinical skills, scientific knowledge, and ethical standards of trainees to prepare them for a career as a clinician, educator, or scientist. Additionally, we strive to prepare physicians for careers in academic medicine through exposure and participation in high-quality research, both in the basic sciences and clinical outcomes research. We also have the charge of providing well-trained clinical pulmonologists and intensivists for the state of Indiana.

The IU pulmonary and critical care training program is perfectly suited for those with a variety of career goals. All of our fellows receive a breadth and depth of clinical experience that fully prepares them for a career in pulmonary and critical care medicine. Additionally, many of our trainees elect to pursue careers in academic medicine; these careers have included basic science research, clinical outcomes research, ethics, and medical education.

Please take time to explore our program, and do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions regarding our training program.
