Peng-Sheng Chen, M.D., Director of the Krannert Institute of Cardiology and the Division of Cardiology, is a member of ASCI, the ABIM Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Test Committee, and the NIH/NHLBI Program Project Grant Parent Committee. He has published over 200 peer-reviewed articles and serves as a member of the editorial board of Circulation, Heart Rhythm and the Journal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology. He has contributed to the understanding of the mechanisms of cardiac fibrillation, defibrillation and the importance of the autonomic nervous system in cardiac arrhythmogenesis.
