Brad Doebbeling, MD, MSc, is a Professor of Medicine and Epidemiology at the Indiana University School of Medicine and Adjunct Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Purdue University. He is a core investigator in the VA HSR&D Center of Excellence on Implementing Evidence-Based Practice and research scientist with Regenstrief Institute, Inc. and the IU Center for Health Services and Outcomes Research. Dr. Doebbeling is a nationally recognized health care epidemiologist and health services researcher, conducting research focused on transforming the health care system. He serves on grant review panels for VA HSR&D and the editorial board of Implementation Science. He has developed new methods to apply to research, and led to new methodologic standards for study design and measurement. His work has influenced research, clinical practice and national policy in patient safety, quality improvement, antimicrobial resistance, implementation science, organizational change and system redesign. He is an experienced research methodologist and mentor, and serves as associate director for the Indiana General Health Services Research Fellowship Training Program.
