Kurt Kroenke, MD, is Professor of Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine and Director of Fellowship and Training Programs at Regenstrief Institute, Inc. He is a core investigator in the VA HSR&D Center of Excellence on Implementing Evidence-Based Practice and research scientist with Regenstrief Institute, Inc. and the IU Center for Health Services and Outcomes Research. He is a past President of the Society of General Internal Medicine, President-Elect of the Association for Clinical Research Training and a Master in the American College of Physicians. His research focuses on depression, pain, and the optimal evaluation and management of common symptoms. He is Co-PI for the Indiana University Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CTSI) and Clinical Investigator Training Enhancement (CITE) Program and Director of the IU Graduate School Master of Science in Clinical Research Program, which offers training and educational opportunities for fellows and junior faculty from numerous disciplines.
