Glenda Westmoreland is an Indianapolis native. After completing medical school residency, chief residency, and combined Health Services Research and Geriatric Medicine fellowships at Indiana University School of Medicine, she joined our faculty in 1995. Currently, she serves as the Director of Geriatrics Education, a position she has held since 1997. Her responsibilities in this role include coordinating geriatric education at both graduate and undergraduate levels. She also serves as Director of the Geriatric Medicine Fellowship Program at IU. She is the principal investigator of a project funded by the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation to establish the Geriatrics Education Network of Indiana. The Network includes medical students, primary care residents and practicing physicians.
