Dermatology Elective at VAMC
The resident will see outpatients at the VA clinics. The elective is designed to increase experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of common dermatologic disorders. Residents will gain hands-on experience in KOH preps, ectoparasite examinations, skin biopsy techniques and use of liquid nitrogen. Conferences are available for resident participation. Residents are encouraged to spend additional time at the University Hospital dermatology clinics to enhance the educational experience.

Dermatology Elective at Wishard
The resident will see outpatients at the Regenstrief Dermatology Clinic. The elective is designed to increase experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of common dermatologic disorders. Residents will gain hands-on experience in KOH preps, ectoparasite examinations, skin biopsy techniques and use of liquid nitrogen. Conferences are available for resident participation. Additional experience with Dr. Lewis is available for interested residents at the Indiana University Adult Outpatient Center for 2 half-day clinic sessions.
