Hospitalist Medicine Consults - Methodist, RCCC
Respiratory and Critical Care Consultants (RCCC) Hospitalist Service housestaff will rotate on a busy general medicine hospitalist service with Drs. Biggerstaff, McQuillan, and Streepey. Responsibilities will include primary care of inpatients on the hospitalist general medicine consultative service, including preoperative clearance, perioperative management, and a preoperative clinic. Didactics include bimonthly journal club, bedside rounding, and twice-weekly lectures. This rotation does not involve overnight call.

General Medicine Consult Service - University Hospital
This is an inpatient teaching service consisting of one attending and two housestaff. Patient care issues range from the acute care of patients with common medical problems which would be encountered in any general medicine practice in the community, to the evaluation and management of patients with complex medical problems and conditions which are diagnostic dilemmas. We also provide consultations and support for other services; including preoperative consultation and perioperative management.
