Rheumatology Clinics and Consults
On this rotation, you will be exposed to rheumatic diseases in both an outpatient and inpatient setting. A series of interactive sessions that cover the gamut of musculoskeletal problems will be completed. You will learn to use laboratory and imaging tests to help diagnose and manage rheumatic diseases. Appropriate techniques of arthrocentesis will be reviewed and every effort will be made to help fulfill your arthrocentesis requirements of your residency. You will receive the "Primer on the Rheumatic Diseases" and other educational material to help prepare for the sessions. This rotation is not vacation eligible.
